Assemblies help to expose students to arts, entertainment, culture, and supplemental education topics provided out of the typical classroom environment. We are going on a road trip! Fasten your seat belts and prepare for a truly memorable experience. Checkers takes students on a reading road trip adventure discovering the many benefits to reading, and Checkers own journey that has taken him to The White House and becoming an author himself.
Checkers takes the students on a road trip with multiple stops discovering the many benefits to reading and how reading can change, improve, and empower yourself. Checkers will also discuss books that have inspired him and made a lifelong impact in his life.
Students will also learn a very special story as Checkers shares his own reading journey that has taken him from a student reader all the way to The White House and becoming a published author himself!

Checkers will proudly donate a copy of his book to every school booking this assembly. Students will also have an opportunity to purchase their own copy of the book to take home with them. The book is intended to further develop student's interest in reading and the world of benefits they can enjoy!
The Healthy Plan" health show is fun, engaging, informational, and promotes healthy choices to kids in a format that they can understand and embrace. Fantastic!

Checkers teams up with Dr. Dan for a one of a kind educational adventure featuring the importance of creating and living a healthy lifestyle.
The Healthy Plan, hosted by Checkers The Inventor, educates student to making good, healthy choices, including tips and tricks to being and staying healthy by living a healthy lifestyle.
Created and written by Checkers the Inventor and pediatric resident physician Danny Hamilton MD, this assembly covers the core elements of living a healthy lifestyle. Through interactive games, demonstrations, and challenges, Checkers shares Dr. Dan’s 5 Tips for a Healthy Life to inspire students to make their health a priority and work to improve and maintain it daily.

Our upcoming children's book will serve as a direct tie-in to this program. We proudly donate a copy of Checker’s book to every school booking this assembly. Students will also have an opportunity to purchase their own copy of the book to take home with them. The book is intended to further develop student's interest and commitment to making good, positive choices and living a healthy lifestyle.
Learning Objectives: Understanding the importance and benefits of good health, making good, healthy food choices, additional contributors to a healthy lifestyle including getting the proper amounts of sleep, staying hydrated, getting the right amount of physical activity, and understanding “Health Blockers” that can prevent a healthy lifestyle, and more.
Bonus: Checker’s Health Tracker: Each student and faculty member a will be given access to our healthy lifestyle chart at the conclusion of the performance. This chart tracks their ability to follow the 5 healthy topics introduced in the 45 minute presentation to record and monitor their healthy choices and personal progress.
In my 16 years of being a principal, it truly was one of the most remarkable programs we have had here at our school. We were completely thrilled with it.

Checkers faces a series of Fall-themed challenges that he must complete with the help of the audience as he faces his fears while learning about Halloween Safety. Includes tips to be prepared to be safe on Halloween and when trick-or-treating.
This spectacular themed performance captures the essence of the Halloween season and thrills the audience with its stunts and activities.
The interactive performance will thrill the audience and include games, challenges, and inventions, while providing helpful tips to ensure the students are prepared to be safe on Halloween.
Halloween Safety: Checkers will talk to the students about checking their Halloween candy and trick-or-treating in groups, plus other tips and safety information.

Ohio Elementary School was pleased to host Checker's the Inventor on January 10th, 2020. He was able to successfully integrate the NY State Social Emotional Learning Benchmarks into an engaging, entertaining, and educational assembly. Our students and teachers were captivated by his energy, messages, and "magical" demonstrations.
